History
Rotary began with one man who had a vision to see professionals from diverse backgrounds join together, share ideas, and form meaningful relationships. The first Rotary Club began in Chicago on February 23, 1905. From this beginning, Rotary’s vision expanded. Members joined together to address a variety of humanitarian and social challenges in our local and global communities, including the fight against polio beginning in 1979. Since that time, polio eradication has been one of Rotary’s top global priorities.
The Dennison Rotary was chartered on July 9, 1924. Over its nearly 100-year history, the Dennison Rotary has worked hard to assess the needs of our local community and make a difference wherever it sees fit.
